We are one week into Fantasy Ethos’ March Madness and promise of 65 posts this month. This marks the twelth post of the month and puts us right around schedule. With that in mind, here are some links to get your brain going this Monday:

Inaugural FantasyFootball.com Roundtable Discussion (FantasyFootball.com) It is March, and these guys are discussing what the fantasy foootball season will bring. Questions that will not be fully answered until December. Hey, someone has to get the ball rolling on these discussions.

Do’s and don’ts of fantasy (SI.com) David Sabino provides fantasy baseball drafting tips that are likely to keep you from making any serious mistakes. If still have not hit your stride in fantasy baseball (or even if you have), you might want to check it out. Always good to get back to basics.

KFFL Reaches Multisport Deal with RotoExperts (Fantasy Sports Business) Matt Schauf has picked up a tip that KFFL will now syndicate RotoExperts’ NASCAR, golf, and soccer content. Since KFFL does not currently have golf or soccer, nor a very robust NASCAR site, this deal allows it to add additional content to its site without too much additional hassle and cost, since syndication is generally a cheaper alternative than producing the content yourself.

Keep on coming back here, because there are always more treats for you on Fantasy Ethos

Note: I previously worked for Fantasy Sports Ventures, the owner of KFFL.com

How is your Friday going? Mine has been quite delightful so far, to be honest. I have been catching up on reading today, and I came across a few articles that you may just enjoy:

Things to Watch for the 2010 Fantasy Football Season, Part One (Fantasy Football) – If you thought it was too early to start thinking about the 2010 fantasy football season, you are sorely mistaken. Not only are some fantasy players contemplating who they might want to draft, there is at least one player out there is developing strategies and determining trends.

Rating the Rankings in Fantasy Football: CBSSports.com Is the 2009 Winner (New York Times) – Determining which rankings to pay attention may be one of the hardest things that fantasy players have to decide before the season. Sara Holladay, aka the Fantasy Football Librarian, painstakingly rated 48 different sets of rankings.

Darius Rucker is Obsessed with Football (ESPN) – This is mainly just a random reference about fantasy football, but Darius Rucker plays fantasy football. He also sports a Fantasy Football Legend T-Shirt. Too bad he’s a Dolphins fan in real life.

I hope you had a good day. Keep checking back here for some big news next week.

It’s been a long while since the last edition of the Fantasy Factoids, but that does not mean I stopped loving you. Getting you some quality fantasy sports news has always been on my mind.

Just today, I was thinking, “Wow! My readers would really want to check out these articles. I should do something about it!” Here is me doing something about it. Check these out:

Fantasy football pays off for area men (Chronicle-Telegram) – A local new article about the team that won the 2009 World Championship of Fantasy Football . Although newspapers are having financial issues, local press can have a great impact in terms of drumming up interest.

The rise and rise of fantasy sports (CNN) This is actually written from an international perspective and discusses that the international fantasy sports market, particularly fantasy soccer, may be the biggest fantasy market of all of them.

ESPN Mobile Thrives Despite No Ties To Ad Networks Or Android (Just Another Mobile Phone Blog) It looks like ESPN found a mobile strategy that works for it. After famously fumbling with ESPN Mobile phones, by refocusing on distributing its sports content (content is ESPN’s core competency) in the mobile arena.

Greene still going strong in postseason (Sporting News) – Shonn Greene may have officially obtained 2010 fantasy football sleeper pick of the year that everyone knows about. Do not be surprised if someone grabs Greene in the second round of your draft next season regardless of how his training camp goes.

I hope you enjoyed these articles. Keep checking back here regularly for additional and, I dare say, awesome fantasy sports news.

Lots of really good articles have been written in the last week or so, and these are a few I thought that I would pass along to you. Go ahead, take a read:

From RotoWire: Usually the argument is whether fantasy football is better than fantasy baseball. But, Kenn Ruby dares to argue both sides of the “which is better, fantasy football or fantasy basketball” argument. Check out Why Fantasy Football is Better Than Fantasy Basketball and Why Fantasy Basketball is Better Than Fantasy Football

From Open Sports: Daniel Dobish of Open Sports writes about ten reasons to play Fox’s Fantasy Quick challenge. Expect he never mentions that Fox Sports is a major investor in Open Sports and that Open Sports actually built the game for Fox (see: Fox Sports Outsources Fantasy to Open Sports). It is perfectly fine to promote your products, but let users know you are, because it is sort of illegal now, according to the latest FTC guidelines on advertisements.

From USA Today: Looks like ESPN is looking to bid for March Madness, which has been on CBS Sports for the longest time. Honestly, I could careless which network broadcasts the NCAA Tournament, but if this means the end of March Madness on Demand, there will be some very upset fans (and happy managers).

From Bleacher Report: I love this diatribe about how fantasy football on the whole needs to really start including real defensive stats. In Walter Kirkwood’s Man Up, America: It’s Time for Defense in Fantasy Football, I love how he asks if I even knew about Patrick Willis‘ phenomenal rookie season, and then he read my mind by daring me to name his team. I had clue (it’s SF), but the article is an entertaining read.

Don’t forget to come back here often for more fantasy goodness.

With today being another lazy Sunday, I thought I would point you to some articles that you could lazily glance over when you are not busy stalking your fantasy football team on the your league’s real-time scoring.

Ten reasons why … you read fantasy columns (OPEN Sports) – Does it count as reading a fantasy article when you are reading an article about why you read fantasy articles?

10 Things To Do During The Bye Week (Predominantly Orange) – Clearly this Broncos fan does not play fantasy football, because the fantasy football fan never has a bye week. The list does contain some valid things that you might want to do in case you do need to take a week away from fantasy.

The Number, The Feeling, The Line (Hardwood Paroxysm) – DJ Turtleface reflects on how he seems to be able to destroy his fantasy basketball league annually, despite continuous improvement by other league owners. This year he may have to take his riskiest strategy–depending on rookie production. He seems happy with it, but let’s see how he feels about it in three months.

Draft Day Dilemma (Study of Sports) – A fantasy basketball owner struggles with his first round pick and ends up having his decision made for him through a strange twist of events.

It’s okay to admit it, we all do it.

Enjoy these articles while I continue contemplate why people continue think that Brett Favre has fantasy value.

Today is Wednesday. It is the middle of the week. While fantasy football players just want to focus on the start of the NFL season that is just under a month away, they must patiently wait. While they wait, I will attempt to quench their fantasy thirst with a few articles that I came across in the past week that I thought you :

Q&A With Matt Forté (NFL Players) Apparently Chris Cooley is not the only real life football player that is a fantasy football junkie. While Forte was responsible for the success of a lot of fantasy teams last year, apparently the only people that were smart enough to draft him were Forté’s college buddies and himself. But you drafted him last year, didn’t you?

AFL’s demise a lesson to those coining ‘the next big thing’ (CBSSports.com) Our condolences to those lamenting the loss of the Arena Football League. Ray Rotto’s article points out the difficulties that new leagues have in establishing themselves–difficulties that the AFL could not overcome in 22 years. From a fantasy perspective, this is a cautionary tale for those pioneering fantasy leagues outside of the main stream fantasy. It can be done, but careful.

No fantasy for online business (LoHud.com) Mostly a local-boy-does-good piece about Fantasy Sports Ventures and its VP Evan Kamer, it does give some insight into Fantasy Sports Ventures’ playbook and what it is attempting to do. At least what it thinks it is doing.

I hope these improved your day just a bit. Don’t forget to check back regularly, because you never know when there is going to be another edition of the Fantasy Factoids!
